This time of year lends itself to thinking about home and family. Unfortunately there are people who are homeless, or are losing their homes. It has to be such a hard position to be in.
When I sit in my little breakfast nook in the mornings, I think about how thankful I am to have a home. My dear sweet husband works hard so we can enjoy our little home and I am able to stay at home with the children. I am thankful for the Lord's faithful provision. I am thankful for our sweet little home.

You said it! Looks like a lovely home you have made too. My sentiments exactly:) Thank the Lord for our hardworking men. Merry Christmas to you and yours:) Carol
What a lovely tablescape. We are fortunate, too ...

You are so right...many others are less fortunate and it often breaks my heart. It's hurtful at any time of the year, but even more so (at least for me) at the holiday time.
My darling I wish you and yours all the joy, love, hope, blessings, peace, laughter, miracles, good health and boundless wealth during this holiday season and always.

I feel the same, Jocelyn...so blessed to have a home, food, clothing, when so many, both in our own towns and across the world, have no shelter and are hungry. I don't know why, but I know the Lord is my provision, and I thank Him for all that I have.
Wishing you a very merry and blessed Christmas!
Mary
We truly are so blessed to have all tht we do. My heart goes out to all of those that are less fortunate.
Christmas is such a special time when we come together in peace and love. I hope that we all can remember the feelings we have at this time and extend them throughtout the year. The less fortunate need us all year long.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
