Waiting for Idalia

Hurricane season is upon us. And waiting to see where the next one will go is sometimes pretty nerve wracking.

Jocelyn, I hope you and yours are ok. I’m not sure exactly where you are, so …. We have a park model in fort myers which was damaged by Ian last year (and then repaired ). we were holding our breaths on this one. Im not sure I could handle another season of repairs and renovations (even if I don’t do much…my husband and our son did the dirty work). Not sure where you are located, but sending you the best of luck. I totally hate hurricane season, even tho we are safe in Oregon (where we’re from and still spend about half the year, even tho the only house we own is in Florida).

It is scary when nature puts us in our place.

I hope you and your property are okay. I lived through one hurricane years ago near Houston and I know they are nothing to mess with.

These storms show who is in charge and it isn't us.
