a tiny nest of eggs - that is a wonderful surprise
Good for you. We have several spots on both our front and back porches that are favored by mourning doves and we are glad to host them but draw the line when they build nests on the blades of our back porch ceiling fan. So we have it wired to the back porch light so that it turns frequently to discourage the squatters.
That is a nice surprise. Fingers crossed that they hatch out successfully!
