Christmas Tea Time

If you had a guest coming for tea, with the Christmas season upon us, how would you set your table?

I love the Red china.  It makes for a festive table any time of the year.

Come, sit a spell, and enjoy a cup of tea with me.

There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.  ~Henry James

How can you possibly miss with red transferware for Christmas! I guess we love it because of the wonderful contrast and the reminder of all the red and white striped peppermint candy canes of our childhoods! I love you post! Thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

I think red china is PERFECT Christmas china -- if I had a brain years ago, I would have gotten red transferware to use for Christmas and Valentine's and 4th of July -- but I didn't and have dedicated Christmas China! (And blue transferware which isn't very Christmasy!)

Great pics.
