This sweet Coffee/Tea service was painted for me by my mother in love. She was a china painter and loved to paint on porcelain. She is 90 years old now, and the ravages of Parkinson's Disease has taken away her ability to do what she loved.
The Yellow Rose set was painted for my daughter.
Do you know how special it is to have two beautiful tea sets?
Thanks for stopping by. I am joining these tea parties this week.

Both sets are so beautiful, and wonderful family heirlooms! My Mom has some kind of condition where her right hand shakes. It's not Parkinson's, and her Dr. never really said what it was, but it keeps her from doing the lovely embroidery that she's done for years. Such a shame!
Happy Labor Day,
Carol
Both tea sets are gorgeous, so sweet and romantic, I love them!! I just came from Tea Party Tuesday
Hello,
I am enthralled by the two beautiful sets. What a treasure to own such a handpainted set and to know the painter. All her love for your and your daughter is in this sets. Your Mother in Love painted the sets so wonderful. Thank you for sharing and blessings to your MIL.
Best greetings, Johanna
Hello Jocelyn,
What beautiful tea sets painted by your loved one! They are real treasures. Having done ceramic pieces myself, I know how time consuming and lovingly painted these pieces were. Thank you so much for sharing their beauty with us today. Have a delightful week.
Blessings,
Sandi

I love hand painted china. The tea sets are gorgeous. How lucky to have such a talented Mother-in-love. So sad that her Parkinsons keeps her from what she loves. Happy Tea Day.
What special treasures you have!
