I found some sweet little treasures on a recent hunt. At the Good Will I found this very cute rooster plate. There were two of them, but the other one was pretty chipped up. So I settled on this one. I've seen this pattern around in antique shops before, but I've never come across it at the GW.
On Saturday when I stopped into my favorite Hospice Thrift store, this lovely blue table cloth was just calling to me. It looks like it would fit a card table. It is in really good condition.
And the final find of the day was this sweet delicate coffee cup and saucer. It is marked Melody Fine China, made in Japan. It really feels like very fine china.
So what treasures have you found this week? Be sure to stop in at Suzanne's Colorado Lady and dig through the treasure chest of vintage thingies that are being shared today.

Did you hear my squeal?! I ate many a meal from a set of those rooster dishes. They were sold at Safeway as a bonus during the mid-60's. I had forgotten all about those dishes...
Wow - good thrifting week. Here, not good. Boohoo. Love the tablecloth.
We never know what we will find at Goodwill stores. You did very well with your finds. At least Bea is happy about the rooster plate.
Love your finds. Especially that little table cloth.
I sooooo luv that plate! Thanks for coming by and I hope you will come again:)
Blessings,
Linda
I love the tablecloth, and the plate looks like it would be nice on a kitchen wall.
I love the little rooster dish. An awesome find.
Love that tablecloth! Goodwill ~ it is almost an addiction for me! I'm always finding something I just can't live without! LOL.
That tablecloth would have called out to me too! I've never seen the rooster plates before. It's cute! You teacup reminds me of my mother's china. It's also made in Japan but it has pink flowers on it. Pretty.
That tablecloth just screams Spring! You're so lucky to find one in great condition, not full of gravy stains! Love that rooster plate too. It would look so pretty hanging on the wall, so you could see it all the time. Very cheerful!
Happy VTT!

Good morning Joycelyn, Thank you for your visit. I wish I knew what is trendy right now. I know 1950's retro is one thing that is trendy. the antique business is a study for sure.
I do love your rooster plate find. It is very nice. Right, no chips wanted. The blue and white tablecloth is pretty too. I love thrift store shopping. Especially Good Will. I used to volunteer at the Hospice thrift store and then they were bought by a different charity. It wasn't as nice.
Have a happy day, hugs, Jeanne

oh my goodness! My mother had a set of those rooster dishes too! She got them at Dillon's, a grocery store down the street from us! She also got amber colored goblets to go with them.
