Kenwood
I found this set of W. H. Grindley & Co. "Kenwood" dishes at the local Hospice Thrift store. They were stacked into a small plastic container and the moment I spied them I knew I had to have them.
The stemware was another thrift store find. I found four of these glasses several years ago and had been on the lookout for more but never found this same pattern. Then last year as I was perusing an Antique shop, I found them! However, they were at Antique shop prices. I ended up buying two and spent more on the two then I did on the four. But hey, at least I had enough now to set a pretty table.
Enjoy the Pink!

Spring Time
Spring brings a wash of all things new. The refreshment of rain, birds building their nests and flowers waking in full bloom.
My African Violet has been so full of blooms. I just had to take it out to the garden and enjoy its beauty.
This Old Royal Bone China sugar and creamer were purchased on one of my trips to Chicago.
My daughter gifted me with this Orenburg Lace Scarf bought on a trip overseas.
Spring makes way for summer. Taking a few minutes to enjoy the delightful spring breeze is such a refreshing way to start the day.Sunday, April 20, 2025
Happy Easter

“He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our sins; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
This weekend is the time Christians celebrate the Risen Savior. If it was not for the sacrifice Jesus made, we would be dead to our sin, eternally. Jesus paid the price we could not pay, for the debt that we owed.
We have all sinned, since we have all done wrong things. But God made a way for us to be forgiven so we can have eternal life in Heaven. We must recognize our sinfulness and accept that Jesus paid the penalty for our sin when he died on the cross and rose again from the grave.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
It's a free gift..........Have a blessed Easter

Blue and White
Since our days have turned so nice and warm, I love to take the table setting outdoors.
Blue and White, one of my favorite combinations. So cool and refreshing.
