Pyrex!

Pyrex! What is it about Pyrex that is so very appealing. Is it because of sentimentality or just because they are so darn cute??

Whenever I go to an Antique shop, I love to look for Pyrex bowls. It always amazes me how expensive these little gems can be. I don't often find them at the Thrift stores, but.......... once in a while..............

I found this large Pyrex bowl a couple of months ago. I have a similar one with the green flowers that was a wedding gift all those years ago. But I love Pyrex, and for about $3 I couldn't resist it.

And then today, TODAY I found this little beauty,

You know it really pays to make that one last sweep through the housewares. This bowl was NOT on the shelf when I went down the china aisle the first time. I wandered around the Goodwill, looked at the glassware, linens, furniture, and then went back to the aisle where the dishes were stacked (and I mean stacked today) and there it was, just waiting for me :-)

And although I have been seeing $8, $10., $12 prices at our Goodwill lately, this little piece of vintage Americana was $3! Yay!!!

Tell me, do you love Pyrex as much as I do??

Joining up with Would you buy it Wednesday?

and Vintage Thingie Thursday!
