We can always learn something new everyday. I also love your photo from your previous post. I can see you are an accomplished photographer. How did you do that? Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of The Snowflake man. Thank you so much for sharing this tribute to his life. I got a sense of his passion and love for the subject of snow.
I grew up in Chicago and during this time of year, there was always plenty of snow and cold air coming in from Lake Michigan. I must admit, there are times when I miss that blanket of white.

ReplyDeleteOh, I am a "snowbird". I love seeing the beauty of the gentle clean snow coming down! It still makes me feel like a little kid.
How interesting. Thank you for this information and beautiful photos of snowflakes. I have always loved snow. Maybe it's because most of my life I lived where it never snowed. LOL Anyway, The video was most interesting. That man really was ahead of his time. I remember my Mom making snow ice cream when I was a little girl. It really impressed me. Thank you for the memory.

What a great post and the video of the Snowflake man was very interesting and informative. The gist of the video was the meat of the whole thing. Beauty, uniqueness, and earthly things are transient and fleeting. Only Christ and that which lives in Him will be eternal. God bless, Dr. Bobbi
ReplyDeleteFascinating! While taking photos last week, I stood behind my grandchild who was wearing a dark sweater. Snow started as we hurried to take photos before running into the warm house. Freezing for the photo I happened to look down and realized that the snow landing on her sweater was in the shape of exquisite crystals like these. It was the first time I'd ever seen that and I am still thrilled by it. So this was doubly interesting to me. Thank you! :)
