Are you Blue?

Winter time also brings on the cool shades of blue. So I've set a cool blue kitchen table and hope you will join me for something warm and delicious.








Oh I hear the timer going off for the Blueberry Muffins. I've got the water hot, ready to pour. Please join me and these other lovely ladies. We'd love for you to join us.

    The tea set is beautiful, as well as the cups; I do like their shapes. The tablecloth adds a special charm.

  24. Very very pretty. I have a soft spot for blue transferware and blue willow. You can do so much with it - - formal, informal, all blues, mix in color. I have Allertons Blue Willow and never tire of it. Thanks for sharing.

  39. Hi again! The blue goblets in my post are Fenton Empress. I just found two replacements on eBay. If you go that route be careful, it also comes in a Williamsburg blue...more turquoise...pretty, but not cobalt. It might take some time to pick up a whole service. I've also found a clean line cobalt goblet with a clear stem at Dollar Tree, of all places. I was able to get the manager to put me in touch with their main facility to order all that I wanted when they didn't have it in stock in the store. Also, I noticed that Mikasa has introduced a blue in their French Countryside pattern recently. I have that goblet in the clear. It
    is a wonderful goblet. I hand wash it even though I'm told that it can go in the dishwasher. Hope this helps your search. Cherry Kay
