I've been thinking about how to do VTT this week. March has been a pretty busy month in our household. On top of that, we were away last week. Very far away ;-) So the Vintage Things I want to share with you are about our time away.

It is amazing to me that some of these building were built in the 1400's.

I believe this building on the right is a newer one. Built in the 1600's.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger, I did a lot of traveling. I never got to go to this interesting place. I am not sure what the buildings were made of back then, but they seem stronger and better built than some of today's.

ReplyDeleteThey really knew how build lovely buildings back then, didn't they? Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI love that Old World architecture. I had that same feeling when we visited Germany several years ago. It makes you realize just how young our country is in comparison.

ReplyDeleteWhen I go home to see my family in Italy, I am amazed too to think that certain buildings are as old as 2000 years old, like the Colosseo in Rome: it gives me chills to think I walked where Julius Caesar walked, the same stones!!! wow...
Stunning! Just Stunning!
