I found these very cute hugging bears on a road trip this past weekend.
Aren't they adorable? I had never seen these little salt and pepper shakers before. But on my way out of the Antique mall, I came across a booth with dozens of them. All different ones. Even a little Eskimo hugging a bear. Not all of them had markings on them, but mine did.
When I looked in my new book, Hot Kitchen & Home Collectibles, I found this listed -
It was not a thrift store find, but the little hugging bears were less then what is listed in the book. And I think they are just too adorable.Please be sure to stop by and visit Coloradolady's Vintage Thingies Thursday and visit all the other great vintage finds.

ReplyDeleteGreat find...both at the antique shop and in the book. I always look at the S&P's. Tho, I don't need another thing to collect. Sometimes I find ones that go with what I already collect...like the Sewing Machine S&P shakers. Nice post for VTT!

ReplyDeleteYour bears are adorable! My Grandma collected s&p sets. She had thousands - old and new! My Dad has many of the sets now but I don't think I've seen bears like this before.
