A visit in history
On a trip up north, we visited the restored home of Lt. Col. J. Jones, built in the 1700's.
Lt. Col. Jones was a personal escort to Martha Washington, our first Presidents First Lady, when she visited Pennsylvania.
This home is located in Morgantown, PA.
It's always interesting to find historical landmarks whenever we travel.

The Second Story Bookshop

The Second Story Bookshop by Denise Hunter is a second chance romance story.
Shelby and Grays relationship is rocky at best. As high school sweethearts, they are torn apart by circumstances that leaves Shelby heartbroken and Gray rejected. When Gray returns he learns that he has been left 49% of the bookstore that Shelby thought she had inherited. What was Gram thinking?
The story is light reading. Clean romance, beautifully written as only Denise Hunter can. The second chance takes you through some drama and a slow build of trust. The story has a good flow and keeps your interest.
I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher, through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Pretty Pink Roses
From this..............
I found this container of china at my local thrift store. I could not wait to bring it home and set a pretty table.
W. H. Grindley & Co Pink Roses (Conway pattern)
This tea set was painted by my late mother in law.
27 pieces including two serving pieces.
Yes, this china took my breath away. I am delighted to serve lunch on these beautiful dishes.
