Another unique place we visited on our drive was the Yulee Sugar Mill Ruins. An historic state park located in Homosassa.

Your post brings back fond memories. I remember being on vacation with my wife in St. John (Virgin Islands) and touring sugar mill ruins.

Glad you shared these Sugar Mill photos from the civil war. Historical places are very interesting to visit.
Interesting. It looks well built. The sugar industry was a tough one. Many enslaved people died in the hot and exhausting work.
