Oh, I simply love a covered bridge! There are several covered bridges in New Brunswick which was my home originally. The Hartland covered bridge in NB is the longest bridge in the world. It is a beauty! I think these bridges are absolutely charming because they are a reminder of bygone years when life was just a bit more simple and down home, so to speak. Wonderful picture, and have a lovely day!
When I was in high school I kept my horse in Central California with my grandparents. For a month he went to a training school near Oakdale and you had to cross the river through a one lane covered bridge. Growing up in Los Angeles made me really appreciate things like that. - Margy
