The summer mantle! What to do?? It's easy to decorate your mantle for fall and Christmas, and even Spring. But summertime always leaves me a little less then creative!! So I recently found a post on
Red Door Home displaying a beautiful mantle. Will it work?? I will certainly try.
The interview was with a very talented designer, Donna Talley. This is her mantle design.
This is what I have to work with :-(
I don't have the gorgeous clock, but Donna's design gave me the idea how to dress up the mantle for a summery look.
I love that I can display my Lenox collection. The clock works in harmony with the picture.
It's a start :-)
Love that you have a mantle!! Your white pieces are beautiful, maybe add some flowers from your garden to make a bold statement.
