I come to the Garden alone

Isn't there something just so sweet and tender about a rose in your garden?

I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses,

And the voice I hear, falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses.

And he walks with me, and he talks with me, and he tells me I am his own,

And the joy we share as we tarry there,

None other has ever known.
"In the Garden" C. Austin Miles

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As we meet and touch, each day,
The many travellers on our way,
Let every such brief contact be
A glorious, helpful ministry;
The contact of the soil and seed,
Each giving to the other's need,
Each helping on the other's best,
And blessing, each, as well as blest.
  12. My husband just brought in my last three roses. I always think of this song when I look at roses. I love being in the "garden" alone with Jesus.
