The Dining Experience



Moving into a new home always calls for a change in ideas. I didn't have a very good picture, but this is how the dining room looked before we bought the house a year ago.

And this is a picture of the empty dining room, a clean slate.

The dining room starting to take shape.

The china hutch is a Thomasville reproduction piece that the former owners left behind. It was originally set up in the family room, but when I saw it I knew it had to take center stage in the dining room :-)

Here are some pictures of tablescapes that we've enjoyed in our new dining room.

    Your tablescapes and dining room are so pretty! I remember when you were moving at the same time as me last year. I hope you've enjoyed a lot of happy times around that dining table and have many more to come.

    I love it. It's so elegant. I'm just about to embark on a great dining room adventure myself. I would love it to have at least some of that same feeling. I like your light too.
