Tea at the Cottage

Last week, as my family traveled into central Georgia for a mini vacation, we stopped in a little town called Pine Mountain. As it was close to lunch time, we stopped in at the Rose Cottage Tea Room.

Lunch was served!

And of course someone had to have a humungous blueberry muffin!

Pretty china dishes were displayed throughout the tea room.

We enjoyed it so much, that my daughter and I drove back on another day for another taste of their cuisine.

  1. I can't remember where Pine Mountain is. I think it might be over near the Little White House?

No worries. I have a map and a husband who knows Georgia like the back of his hand. I'm putting this place on my "tag along with him on business and see" list.

    It looks wonderful!

  2. It's been a while since I've visited a tea room....but it really is such a quaint thing to do...I should make a lunch date! Collecting bone china tea cups is one of my many passions...and I always bring something home to add to my growing stock!

this is such a cute place..thanks for taking me along!

  12. Hello,
I would love to visit such a nice tea house. I love the charm of an oldfashioned home. It is very different to the coffee restaurants in Germany. How nice to desplay all those china. And the food looks so delicious. Thank you for sharing.
