Outdoor Wednesday

I posted these pictures on my Quilting Blog but thought I would post them again for Outdoor Wednesday.

It seems a lot of folks are taking the last few days of summer for a quick little vacation. Well, we joined the ranks and took a few days away.


And do you know what we heard while we stayed here?

Nothing, absolutely nothing :-)

Makes it hard to come back to the "real" world.

    Nothing like the quiet of the outdoors. I sometimes forget how much I enjoy the calm, especially when life is so hectic.

    Life is so chaotic sometimes; but isn't it grand to get-away and hear the wind in the forest and smell the lake water.
