Vintage Red

Last week I posted about some of the treasures my daughter and I found at the Queen of Hearts Antique Mall in Alpharetta Georgia.

As we walked this Antique mall for 2 1/2 hours, my daughter came across a booth that was closing down, and everything in the booth was 40% off. Many times when we find a booth that is closing, there really isn't much left. So I was pleasantly surprised to find these beauties -

With the discount I bought 5 cups, 6 saucers and a creamer for about $10.

They are marked Made in England, but I think they will go with my Strawberry Hill Syracuse China.

I found these dishes about a year ago at the Goodwill. Never have seen this pattern again.

I adore the red/pink transferware patterns. I agree...they always seem to "play well together"! Copeland Spode Pink Tower lives in our cabinets. It came from my mother-in-love. Thank you for sharing your wonderful find. Cherry Kay

I love the red transferware and, yes it does go well with the Strawberry Hill! I have a few pieces of Strawberry Hill, as well as other restaurantware pieces.
